America Is Dying and You Allowed It

I will not tell you my political beliefs or my political affiliations because for the purpose of this article it does not matter if I am a member of a political party because I write this as an American. What I am about to state is what I feel is from the heart and written from the view of being an American that keeps on trying and yet keeps on finding it more difficult to survive financially.
McDonald's fast food now outsources the people that take your order in the drive thru. We call the bank and we speak with someone in another nation. Go to WalMart and it is made in China. The oil in our foreign made car is from the Middle East. Corporations are paying their executive millions of dollars in pay and bonuses and yet my utility bills are filled with "fees", which is really a code word for "taxes." When does the raping of the American worker end?
If the American worker does not wake up, and wake up soon, we will be completely reduced to a nation that does noting but provide services. "Will you have fries with that order?"
We, as Americans have watched our wages decrease, our jobs vanish along with the now extinct word "pension." CEO's have golden parachutes while you get a pink slip. If things keep going the way they are there will be no manufacturing base in this ONCE great nation because the corporations have shipped all their factories overseas so they can earn larger profits. Have you shared in those larger profits?
There are really only three classes of Americans today.
- Those that are poor and have nothing.
- Those that work their tails off and barely survive paycheck to paycheck and hope the car does not break down this month.
- The wealthy that have more money than you ever dreamed even existed.
No longer is America run by the people. No longer is America where the voice of the American people is being heard. No longer do YOU matter to those in Washington. If you are a Black person Washington does not care, they just want you to think they care at election time. if you are a white person, Washington just wants to fear you into agreeing with the next military action or corporate bailout. America is quickly becoming an irrelevant nation because of the current ruling class we have had in Washington for the past 30 to 40 years.
My father served this once great nation on the fields of battle during World War II and now it is our time to stand up and fight for this nation. I do not encourage violence or physical revolt, I encourage you to empower ALL Americans to get their keesters out and vote out of office ALL of the incumbent politicians that have made this country nothing more than one large sweatshop for the mega wealthy.
Come election time we, as a nation need to wake up and get all of the bums out of office and if the people we elect do not listen to us we just keep voting in 2012. It is time that we either take back this once great nation or we will just continue to spin off into history as a great, but failed experiment in Democracy.
Our fathers and grandfathers had to fight and die, all we have to do is vote!
So...get up and get involved. Get up and talk to your neighbors. Go to work, if you still have a job, and convince your acquaintances to cast a vote. We, as a nation need to take back control of our nation from big companies and the wealthy to ensure that there is a prosperous place for our children and grandchildren to inherit.
If you choose to not get involved my only hope is that you are physically fit enough to carry your own body weight long distances. if you do not have the physical ability to propel yourself through the unpleasant circumstances that non-action may create, then you may just die because of that one little short coming. There is a change on the event horizon coming and what that change may mean will very much be formulated by what happens in the elections of 2010 and 2012. How that change will affect you may very well depend on whether or not you and your neighbor voted!
I do not want, I do not promote and I do not encourage violence or revolt, but if America does not change its course and start listening to the people, we are in for some really tough times. Early post World War II Europe is what our nation is coming to resemble. Buildings gutted, no industry and no jobs. If we as a people do not wake up and vote out the self serving politicians, you better know how to survive. What if you wake up tomorrow and the dollar has collapsed on the world market and the price for food has been inflated to un-affordable levels?
You doubt this could happen? Okay, then just keep driving your foreign made car to a corporately owned McDonald's and order your unhealthy meal from a person that is not even in the building. You just keep acting as if nothing is happening and when you wake up one day and your world has collapsed around you, we, as a nation will be too fat to survive for long.
Either, we as a nation wake up and vote out ALL THE CAREER politicians, or we as a nation may just cease to exist. Whether that death comes from the crippling national debt or the lack of jobs available is irrelevant.
You just better be ready.. because one way or another... ready or not....here it comes.

The career politicians will only be replaced by the same. Elections are auctions with the one with the most money wins. Money rules. This began with Reagan,as did the demise of the poor and middle class. It will take a traumatic event to change things and wake people up regarding the disparity of wealth in America. The wealthy cleverly keep the less intelligent amused with gay marriage and flag burning.A lot of America's future problems will result in a lower standard of living because of globalization. We have become spoiled by borrowing off the backs of developing countries. That's now history. China, India and Asia in general are about to clean our clocks. Every American is going to lose big time, especially the poor and middle class, and will end up blaming it on one another. Better sell your stocks, cash in your 401Ks, buy a gun and some canned beans, and head for the hills!
